So how does the raffle thing work?
$15 donation to LA Food Bank = 1 Raffle ticket. However, for legal reasons, no purchase is required of you to enter the raffle and stand a chance to win one of the prizes. But I really hope you make a donation when you enter. CLICK HERE TO MAKE A DONATION. Donations will be made on my (Jo Anna Rothman) LA Food Bank Donation Page. This way all the donations go directly to the Food Bank. Please make a donation before entering the raffle.
After you donate, you can come back to the main page and enter the raffle(s) you want to by filling out the form that is with the description of each raffle.
What if I want to donate more than $15 dollars?
That would be super duper! And for each $15 dollars you donate are entitled to another raffle ticket. You can choose which of the 4 raffles you want to put your virtual ticket towards. If you want to enter the same raffle more than one time, than you must submit the form another time. Each time you submit a form you will receive another entry.
How do I know which prizes I am eligible to win?
The prizes are broken down into 4 separate raffles (Life, Business, Spirituality, and Pets). You are eligible to win any prize in the category you enter.
Why do you want to know if I life in Los Angeles?
There are a few prizes that are available for Los Angeles residents only. There is a way to note on the form that you are from LA. If you are picked for an LA only prize and you live elsewhere, you will be eligible for the next prize on the list.
Do I get something just for making a donation?
Why, yes you do! Every donation will entitle you to a copy of The Receiving Project 2.0: Receiving Your Desires (a $49 value). You will receive a link to participate by December 1, 2011. You will get an email from me with the sign up link. You can sign up at any time.
When does the raffle end?
You will be able to enter the raffle from November 14, 2011 9am PST to November 25, 2011 at 11:59 PST.
When will I find out if I won?
The drawing will be held on on November 26, 2011. Winners will be posted on The Receiving Project’s website. Winners will also be notified via email where you will be given information on how to redeem the prizes.
If I donated a prize, can I still enter?
You betcha! If you get picked for the prize you provided, you will receive the next prize on the list.
How much of the donated money will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank?
All of it! That is why you are donating directly to my fundraising page on the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank website.
If I win, how do I receive my awesome prize?
I will contact you with information about how to receive the prize.
When I enter the raffle, how do know that you got my entry?
When you enter the raffle, you will see a confimation. I will also send you an to let you know that your entry has been received. Please know it will take up to 36 hours for the email to be sent. It’s just me here folks!
How are the winners picked?
Each raffle entry will be given a number in the order in which you entered the raffle. On November 26, 2011, numbers will be picked using a random number generator. First I will identify the prize about to be won and then I will draw the number.
How can I get a raffle ticket without making a donation?
I do hope you will really consider making a donation, as it is an easy and powerful opportunity to be of service. My intention was to make the raffle ticket affordable enough for many people to enter. However, if you choose not to, you can follow the links on the home page and enter the raffle by filling out the forms.
What if I want to make a donation without entering the raffle?
That is totally allowed! Simply make your donation on my Los Angeles Regional Food Bank fundraising page.
