The Service Project
Let’s raise $5000 (or more!!) for the LA food bank with a KICK-ASS RAFFLE!!
It’s the time of year for gratitude, gifts and miracles. I was over taken by that spirit and decided I wanted to embark on a project of service. I felt very called to assist people in meeting their basic needs.
I chose the Los Angles Regional Food Bank for several reasons. They have a 4 star rating from Charity Navigator. They appear to use their funds wisely; for every dollar donated they are able to distribute $5 worth of food. Most of all, they assist in providing over one million meals a year. In addition, they make online fundraising really easy.
Here is how this works:
- $15 donation to LA Food Bank = 1 Raffle ticket. However, for legal reasons, no purchase is required of you to enter the raffle and stand a chance to win one of the prizes. But I really hope you make a donation when you enter. Click here to make a donation.
- Come back here and enter one of the 4 raffles for kick ass prizes. Scroll down for prizes.
- Everyone who makes a donation will be able to participate in The Receiving Project 2.o: Receiving Your Desires! (a $49 value).

- You will be able to enter the raffle from November 14, 2011 9am PST to November 25, 2011 at 11:59 PST.
- The drawing will be held on on November 26, 2011. Winners will be posted on The Receiving Project’s website. Winners will also be notified via email where you will be given information on how to redeem the prizes.
